We were asked to reimagine a brownfield site as a shared commons for local activity—after-school clubs, Scouts, and affordable studios for artists. The scheme combined new timber-framed sheds with black shipping containers, carefully inserted between the historic coal chute structures. The design balanced heritage with new community infrastructure.
