Founder of Joe&Co, Joe Dempsey, is part of Design For Life, a research team led by Prof. Stefan White. Working with Pozzoni Architects and North Manchester General Hospital, the project explored how a residential masterplan could integrate healthy ageing design principles and strengthen hospital–community links.

Joe’s teaching at Manchester School of Architecture was directly tied to this live project, with students in 2023/24 contributing to the research and design development.
